My name is Tyler but I'm sure you already knew that because you wouldn't be on this site if you didn't already know me.  My life has been transformed through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  When I was 8 years old, he rescued me from my illusion of self-righteousness, thinking that I could "be a good boy" and earn my way to heaven.  I came to the realization that I'm a desperate sinner and my only hope of heaven was to trust in the finished work of Jesus as my Savior.

At age 16, I sensed a calling to vocational ministry which was confirmed by my church family in central Alabama.  After completing high school, I attended Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama where I received a B.A. in Religion.  At Samford, I met my wife and we now have three lovely daughters.  After completing my time at Samford, we move to the loveliest little village on the plains to serve at Lakeview Baptist Church in Auburn, Alabama while completing my Masters of Divinity at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  After three years, I was ordained and set apart for Gospel ministry.   I've served as a youth pastor, missionary, church planter, and pastor in various geographical location (D.R. Congo, Alabama, Tennessee, and Missouri.)  I'm an extraordinarily average man striving to know God and make him known through my life and ministry as a pastor in my local church.  My desire is simply to know God and make him known to those whom he puts in my path through the ministry of the Word and prayer.
